AiMTT publishes learning module on crowd management

The learning module is aimed at traffic and mobility professionals, event organisers, researchers, and students. It is available free of charge and takes participants through the complete AI-supported crowd management workflow.

Using the SAIL Amsterdam use case, experts from TU Delft, Analyze, and uCrowds demonstrate how AI can support safer and more effective decision-making throughout the event lifecycle.

The module covers topics including:

  • Stakeholder collaboration
  • Level of Service (LOS)
  • Crowd simulation
  • Large Language Models (LLMs) for crowd simulation
  • Crowd monitoring
  • Real-time alerts based on operational data
  • Practical insights

The learning module was developed within AiMTT, where Sascha Hoogendoorn-Lanser (MICD) serves as Learning Community Lead.
